THE CYCLING MACHINES
A truly rewarding experience for the avid cyclist, we take the best and hardest routes of the island.
Day 1. Esporles Loop
A relatively easy start, just to get the team warmed up for the days ahead. We take a picturesque loop-ride from the Sóller Valley vía Deià and Esporles, through Coll d’en Claret and Coll de Sóller. Great coastal views and easy climbs.
Distance 65KM
Elevation 1100m
Day 2. Orient Loop
After an easy start we turn up the heat with this ever changing loop via the amazing Orient valley and Selva, climbing Coll de Honor and Coll de Sabatalla, among others. It’s a challenging route with proper climbs.
Distance 90KM
Elevation 1900m
Day 3. Andratx Loop
On our third ride we take you on a long one. Through the Ma-10 from Sóller all the way to Andratx, via Banyalbufar and Estellencs, with unparalleled coastal views and rather low traffic. We then turn interior, riding through green valleys and twisty peaks. A really unforgettable route, one of our favorites.
Distance 120KM
Elevation 2300m
Day 4. The Plains
It’s time to take it easy and recharge, therefore we take a rather soft day on the plains of Mallorca. From Santa Maria through the historic town of Selva and Petra, mainly on mellow backroads through the countryside, we make our way up to the Santuari de Cura. A calm day, before the storm.
Distance 70KM
Elevation 750m
Day 5. The Snake
After a chill-out day, we get back on the saddle to ride two of the islands’ icons, Puig Mayor, the longest climb in Mallorca, and the world famous Sa Calobra. It’s a ride to remember. Just
to make sure you get your daily, prescribed miles in those legs, we take you on a detour to the Santuari de Lluc.
Distance 82KM
Elevation 2300m
Day 6. The Cap
Here we are, on our last stage. It’s just about time to conquest the North East, Cap de Formentor and finish our adventure on a high-note. Formentor, one of the most picturesque peninsulas of the Mediterranean. We’ll start riding in Campanet and make our way out to the lighthouse. After a short break, we turn around to head back to base-camp, through the eastern ridge of the Tramuntana. Truly unforgettable!
