The Formentor lighthouse at sunset

BOC on Loop

Our original week: a seven-stage loop around the whole island.

The legendary Tramuntana climbs and the quiet roads nobody films.

You sleep in one private finca, ride out in a different direction every morning, and every evening ends at the same long table.

Your week on the map

Our original week: seven stages around the island, from legendary Tramuntana climbs to quiet roads. One private finca, a new direction every morning, and the same long table every evening.

Day 180 km / 750 m

The South East, gently

Easy slopes and mellow roads through the island's quiet corner: the day the legs and the group find their rhythm. Coffee stop where the locals stop. Back with daylight to spare; the pool is yours.

Day 2100 km / 1,500 m

Formentor and the Cap

North-east to the Formentor peninsula and out to the lighthouse, where the road rides the ridgeline between two seas. The week's first proper climbing day, and most riders' favourite photograph.

Day 390 km / 1,200 m

Three sanctuaries

Into the island's centre, linking three hilltop sanctuaries: short climbs, long views, and villages that don't perform for anyone. Lunch matters today. Tonight's menu leans on the interior.

Day 4120 km / 2,500 m

Puig Major, Sa Calobra, Sa Batalla

The queen stage. Puig Major first, then Sa Calobra, 9.4 km at 7%, the road that folds over itself, and home over the Coll de Sa Batalla. The support car carries everything; you just ride. Dinner tastes different tonight.

Day 580 km / 1,600 m

Orient Valley

South-west through Puigpunyent and Esporles, then into the Orient valley: olive groves, one hairpin village, roads we've ridden all our lives. Shorter than yesterday; it won't feel like a rest.

Day 6120 km / 2,000 m

The Ma-10, end to end

The full Tramuntana road, Pollença to Sant Elm: the ride the island is famous for, done in one line with the sea on your right. The week's last big day, earned kilometre by kilometre.

Day 775 km / 750 m

Surprise Sunday

An easy loop we keep to ourselves until the morning, and a bodega visit at the end of it. Glasses up, bikes packed by our hands, and the island stays where you left it. That's rather the point.

Day by day.

Thank you for sharing the experience with us. Time has come to say goodbye, but we hope to see you again!

The Table

Chef Balta writes each menu from what the island gives that week.

Menus travel with the terrain: the week of Sóller oranges and mountain lamb.

Questions answered. Ride ready.

How do I book?

Send the Bespoke form or write to us. A twenty-minute call, a written proposal, and a deposit secures your week. No booking engine, no waiting list tricks.

Can partners ride e-bikes on the same week?

Yes, absolutely.

What's the minimum level of fitness required to participate?

Depending on the tour. The Cycling Machines, La Femme Ride and The Short Escape tours are created for avid cyclists, regardless of age, who like to push their limits beyond the usual. The Easy Riders is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, although some sort of regular cycling is required.

How many people will I ride with?

Our cycling experiences are usually limited to 12 riders. On the other hand, we can tailor any of our tours for larger groups. Please contact us for details at hola@boc-cycling.com

Is it a mixed cycling experience?

Yes, everyone is welcome in our cycling adventures, except La Femme Ride, which has been tailored exclusively for female cyclists.

What kind of support is provided during the rides? Is there a support vehicle?

All rides are accompanied by two guides, while mechanical and nutritional support is provided by our support van at all times.

Is the bike hire included in the price and what are the options?

Yes, no need to worry about bringing your own bike. We have the latest carbon bikes that the island can offer: from Pinarello to Bianchi, Colnago, Trek and Factor, to name a few brands, always depending on availability. Electric road and e-city bikes are also available.

What is the gear set on the bikes?

Chainring 50/34 or 52/36 and rear cassette 11/34 or 11/30.

Can I bring my own bike?

Sure you can, and you'll receive a 100 euro discount off the price. Although, to avoid unnecessary headaches (from taking the bike apart and packing it, to having it lost or damaged, the added travel cost and so on), in our opinion it is not worth the hassle.

Is there an e-bike option?

Yes, there are e-road and e-city bikes available.

What kit and accessories should I bring?

On arrival you will receive our BOC welcome package, which includes, among other things, our BOC-Cycling kit (jersey, socks, windbreaker). We will provide a helmet and all the usual accessories the bike might need during the rides.
